Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell tied the knot with his Indian origin fiancée Vini Raman in Australia in March 2022. The couple conducted the Indian wedding rituals in Chennai, the visuals of which have gone viral. The couple completed their Indian-style wedding on March 27 and the video of the ceremony has gone viral. In the video, both Maxwell and Vini are seen exchanging garlands and participating in the ‘Varmala’ ceremony which is a popular ritual in Tamil marriages.

3. Kathrine Brunt Nat Sciver
Kathrine Brunt and Nat Sciver got married on May 30. 2022. The couple had been dating each other for five years, before getting married in a fairy tale way. Cricketer-turned-expert Isa Guha was the first one to wish the adorable couple. Proud. Love you both.” The official Twitter handle of England Cricket also congratulated the couple on getting married. “Our warmest congratulations to Katherine Brunt & Nat Sciver who got married over the weekend,” tweeted England Cricket.

4. Haris Rauf Muzan Malik
Pakistan cricketer Haris Rauf has begun the next innings in his life. He married his childhood friend Muzna Malik in a close gathering in Islamabad on Saturday, 24th December. Several Pakistan cricketers attended the Nikkah celebration and the pictures of the couple have been doing the rounds on social media with the fans.
Haris Rauf was seen in a traditional white sherwani during the ceremony. While his wife too complimented the cricketer with a white dress that had golden embroidery. While the couple’s Nikkah ceremony is over, other wedding festivities are scheduled to take place a year later.
5. Jimmy Nessham Alex MacLeod-Smith
New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham got married to his long-time partner Alex MacLeod-Smith on December first week 2022. The wedding was a low-key affair with only close friends of the couple and family members present. Neesham also didn’t get time to honeymoon as he went off to play BBL for the Hurricanes.

In a first of sorts, three Lankan cricketers Charith Aslanka, Pathum Nissanka, and Kasun Rajitha got married on the same day in November 28, 2022. The trio returned from T2O World Cup in Australia and got hitched to their respective partners just before Lanka Premier League.
