The Super Smash is one of the oldest men’s domestic Twenty20 cricket competitions in New Zealand. It is currently known as the Dream11 Super Smash for sponsorship reasons and has been held every year since 2005.
The tournament consists of a double round-robin in a six-team group. Top two teams advance to the finals.
The most successful team in the history of the Super Smash is the Northern Brave, with four titles. The Auckland Aces and Wellington Firebirds have also won four titles each.
The current champion is the Northern Brave, who won their fourth title in the 2022-23 season.
