The Champions Trophy will make a grand comeback after eight years. While Pakistan is the official host, India will play their matches in Dubai. The tournament begins on February 19. Eight teams will compete in the ICC event for the coveted trophy. Pakistan, as the defending champions, will have the home-ground advantage, but strong competition is expected from other subcontinent teams like India and Bangladesh.

For the group stage, the teams are split into two groups, each playing three matches. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals.

Group A comprises India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand. Group B includes Australia, South Africa, England, and Afghanistan. The tournament opener will feature Pakistan versus New Zealand on February 19 at the National Stadium in Karachi.
