Indian Premier League 2023 is finally over. Now, the focus shifts to WTC Final 2023. While fans might be taking a break from cricket, there will be no rest for the four stars of India Cricket Team. Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammad Shami, Ajinkya Rahane and Shubman Gill who were involved in CSK vs GT IPL 2023 Final will leave for London on Wednesday. After a chaotic final that lasted three days or more than 30 hours, players have returned home. Gujarat Titans stars have returned home while hero of the match Ravindra Jadeja will be in Chennai before leaving for London. They are expected to take a late-night flight on Wednesday.

In a dramatic last-over finale, Chennai Super Kings pipped Gujarat Titans by 5 wickets to lift IPL trophy for a 5th time.

WTC Final 2023: Rohit Sharma joins practice

Meanwhile, back in the UK, India captain Rohit Sharma has joined Team India practice at the Arundel Castle Cricket Club in Sussex.

Cheteshwar Pujara who was supposed to be on a short break has also joined practice along with Virat Kohli.

As for Shami and Jadeja, the duo had already begun practice with the Red Dukes during IPL. Now, Team India will have full-fledged practice ahead of the final. India are expected to shift their base to Oval on June 2.
