Rajeshwari Gayakwad is a veteran spinner who represents the Indian women’s cricket team across three formats – Tests, ODIs and T20Is. She hails from Bijapur, Karnataka, the land that has given so many legendary men’s cricketers like Gundappa Viswanath, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble and others. She comes from a family of sportspersons and other than cricket, she loves participating in track and field sports like javelin and discus throw. Her role model is former New Zealand spinner Daniel Vettori.
