Most Test matches in a career

Test cricket is over 14 decades old. However, there are only a handful of players—72 to be exact—who have played 100 or more Test matches for their respective countries or the ICC. Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar is the only cricketer to have played 200 Tests. Second on the list is veteran England pacer James Anderson, who, alongside teammate Stuart Broad, is the only active cricketer in the top 10 list of most Test matches played in a career. The following list contains the names of over 70 players who have played 100 or more Test matches over the course of their careers.
