Sir Richard Hadlee, a New Zealand fast bowling legend, had 36 five-wicket hauls in 86 matches. The Indian record is held by Anil Kumble, who took 35 five-wicket hauls from 132 matches. His fellow countryman Ravi Ashwin finds himself in the seventh spot, with 31 five-wicket hauls from just 91 matches. The list includes the likes of Rangana Herath from Sri Lanka and James Anderson from England.
