Toyota Australia extends deal with Cricket Australia – Australia’s leading automotive company, Toyota Australia has announced a four-year extension of their partnership with Cricket Australia (CA), which will cover all aspects of the game in the nation. The collaboration will continue to include the Australian Men’s team and the KFC Big Bash League, but will now also include the Australian Women’s team, the Weber Women’s Big Bash League, and Cricket Australia’s inclusion and diversity programmes.

Toyota Australia has also reaffirmed its commitment to local and regional cricket through ongoing initiatives like the Toyota Good for Cricket Program, which includes an annual raffle, and the Toyota Australian Country Cricket Championships. This will enable Toyota to achieve its goal of being a part of cricketers’ journeys at all levels of the game and throughout Australia, from community to elite competitions.

Vin Naidoo, Toyota Australia Chief Marketing Officer, said, “Toyota has been a long-standing supporter of grassroots cricket across Australia, and we’re delighted to extend our partnership to all divisions of cricket for the 2022-23 season and beyond. Since 2012, Toyota has supported community cricket with the Good for Cricket program, helping hundreds of clubs across Australia raise over $5 million that they can put towards new kits, cricket ground upgrades or buying new gear.”

He added, “This season, the Toyota Good for Cricket Raffle has enabled grassroots clubs to raise $849,970 by selling over 169,000 tickets, helping them make cricket more accessible for all. Toyota is extremely proud to extend this partnership and support players, volunteers, and fans across the entire cricket community.”
