CPL 2021: Top 5 IPL stars who will feature in Caribbean Premier League – The Caribbean Premier League (CPL 2021) will kick start its latest edition on August 28. CPL declared the full list of players across the world who will participate in the league on May 28. There are some foreign stars on this list who were also part of IPL 2021. Rajasthan Royals’ Chris Morris will be playing for Barbados Tridents while Chennai Super Kings’ Faf du Plessis will be in St Lucia Zouks team. There are many West Indies stars like Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine who would light up the league but players like Shakib Al Hasan, Sandeep Lamichhane and Anrich Nortje will just add a bit more spice to the league.

CPL 2021: Chris Morris – Barbados Tridents


The costliest player in the history of IPL, South Africa all-rounder Chris Morris will play for Barbados Tridents in the CPL 2021. He was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 16.25 crore in IPL 2021. The all-rounder was at the top of his game in IPL 2021 as he picked 14 wickets and won a game for RR batting down the order. Barbados will be aiming for some match-winning performance from Morris in the Caribbean Premier League.


CPL 2021: Anrich Nortje – St Kitts Nevis Patriots


South Africa speedster, who represents Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League, has been signed by CPL franchise St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots for CPL 2021. In IPL 2020, the right-arm pacer had an excellent season and helped DC reach the final of the league. Nortje bowled at the speed of 156.22 km/h (97 mph), the fastest delivery to date in the history of IPL. He was part of DC’s squad in IPL 2021 but did not play a single game. 


CPL 2021: Dwayne Bravo- St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots


TKR announced that based on a request from Dwayne Bravo, they have agreed to trade him to St Kitts & Nevis Patriots (SKNP). Bravo said, “At this stage in my career, I needed a new challenge, which is to work with the young talent for the benefit of Cricket West Indies. Also becoming part of a new franchise SKNP will provide me with a new challenge in CPL. I want to thank TKR for respecting my wishes and for the support over the years. I also appreciate everything they have done for Trinidad & Tobago in general.”

CPL 2021: Faf du Plessis – St Lucia Zouks


After having a wonderful season with Chennai Super Kings Faf du Plessis will aim to continue on the same path for his new CPL team St Lucia Zouks. This is his second assignment at the CPL, having played for the Patriots in 2016. Du Plessis also has an impressive record in T20s, with 6250 runs in 247 matches at a strike rate of 128.91 with one century and 41 fifties under his belt. 


CPL 2021: Chris Gayle – St Kitts & Nevis Patriots


One of the best opening batsmen in the history of T20 cricket, Chris Gayle will be playing for St Kitts & Nevis Patriots in the CPL 2021. He presented Punjab Kings in IPL 2021 where he was given a new job of batting at number three and anchoring the innings rather than playing his natural explosive game. The 41-year-old Gayle will aim to win the trophy this year for St Kitts & Nevis Patriots.
