COD Mobile World Championship 2021. Last year, plans for the Call of Duty: Mobile world championship were disrupted due to COVID-19 & the much-anticipated tournament was called off after the regional stages. However, this year COD mobile is back with another world championship that is bigger & better than its predecessor.
For the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2021, Activision has prolonged its partnership with Sony to introduce a prize pool of $2 million. Starting with in-game qualifiers that’ll be open for all, players from a number of regions can take part in the tournament. Climbing up the ladder by winning each stage, players can advance towards the 2021 World Championship Finals. A COD Mobile Esports YouTube channel has also been launched by COD Mobile ahead of the championship.

Prize Pool: COD Mobile World Championship 2021
The $2 Million Dollar prize pool of the Free Fire 2021 will be distributed in both regional playoffs and the World Championship Finals. Moreover, the partner tournaments will feature extra prize pools which will be announced later.
Format: COD Mobile World Championship 2021
There will be five stages in the CODM World Championship 2021, namely the solo play, team play, regional qualifiers, regional playoffs, and the finals.
Stage 1 – Solo Play
Solo Play is where players will compete in Ranked Mode and try to attain 60 points in 10 matches across any of the four weekends Solo Play is live, in order to advance to Stage 2.
Stage 2 – Team Play
Team Play is where players who advanced from Stage 1 will form teams. These teams will need to complete 30 Ranked Matches together and earn points to move up the Team Play leaderboard. The top 256 ranked teams will advance to Stage 3.
Stage 3 – Regional Qualifiers
This is the first stage that will be hosted on GameBattles. Stage 3 will be an elimination style bracketed tournament. Top placing teams will advance to Stage 4.
Stage 4 – Regional Playoffs
The top teams from Stage 3 will face off in their respective Regional Playoffs. Regional Playoffs will also be an elimination style bracketed tournament. Winning teams will receive a spot in the World Championship finals.
Stage 5 – World Championship Finals
Qualified teams from around the globe will meet at the World Championship Finals to compete for the Grand Prize. More details on format and prize distribution to be announced in the future.
Apart from these, Activision has reported that there will a number of tournaments that will be hosted by regional partners. Teams from here can qualify for the World Championship Finals as well.
Eligibility Criteria for Participation
- Age: Players must be 18 or older at the time of registration to compete in any Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship competition
- Regions: Players must be part of an eligible region to participate; official list of regions will follow in the forthcoming official ruleset.
- Level: Players must be level 10 or higher to participate in Ranked Multiplayer matches.

In Game Rewards: COD Mobile World Championship 2021
According to Dot Esports, Activision’s vice president of product for CODM, Matthew Lewis, said in an interview with GameSpot that the company has collaborated with popular creators iFerg, BobbyPlays, HawksNest. As a result, players can earn “unique in-game rewards” designed by these creators through Stage 1 of the championship.
