Chelsea will face Palmeiras in the Club World Cup final after beating Al-Hilal in Abu Dhabi. Al-Hilal started brightly enough in the semi-final but it only took around 10 minutes for Chelsea to start dominating possession.
Hakim Ziyech and Mateo Kovačić threatened from range before two good chances fell to Romelu Lukaku. He couldn’t convert those — missing the ball from a low Cesar Azpilicueta cross and aiming an effort directly at Abdullah Al-Mayouf — but he took his third chance.

That seemed to scare Al-Hilal into life and they gave Chelsea scares in the final 40 minutes, with Kepa smothering a huge chance for Moussa Marega and tipping a superb effort from Kanno.
That was as close as the underdogs came and Chelsea will now face Palmeiras in the final on Saturday.

Viacom18 has purchased the broadcasting rights to show the FIFA Club World Cup matches in India. Although no official statement has been made as of yet, the live-streaming of the Club World Cup matches will most likely be available on Viacom18’s video-streaming platform, Voot.
A total of 7 teams are participating in the FIFA Club World Cup. These seven teams are Palmeiras, Chelsea, AL Hilal, Al Ahly, Monterrey, As Pirae, and Al Jazira. Each of the 7 teams has their respective rounds in which they enter the tournament. Chelsea and Palmeiras are the two sides that will feature directly in the semis, while Al Hilal, Al Ahly, and Monterrey entered into the second round of the tournament. Hosts Al Jazira and nominated by the Oceania Football Confederation side As Pirae entered into the first round of the tie.
The first round fixture saw Al Jazira comprehensively defeat As Pirae by a scoreline of 4-1, as the host team made their way into the second round. The steady progress of the host side was halted after they were humiliated by Al Hilal who defeated them with a scoreline of 6-1. In the other fixture of the second-round game, Al Ahly registered a narrow victory over Monterrey by defeating them 1-0.

The tie for the semi-finals looks extremely interesting as Chelsea takes on Al Hilal and Al Ahly face Palmeiras. The finals will take place on the 12th of this month when the winners of the two semis lock horns with one another to capture the title. The fifth-place tie between Monterrey and Al Jazira will take place on 9th February while the match for deciding the 3rd placed team will take place before the finals on 12th February.
