Casemiro denies any poor relationship segment with Bruno Fernandes
Manchester United midfield Casemiro has rubbished all rumours about a fall out with teammate Bruno Fernandes
Casemiro opens up on his relationship with Bruno Fernandes at Manchester United and it called everything normal. He has denied that he has ever had a falling out with his teammate. He says that both players are on excellent terms. Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro have been excellent for Man United this season. Bruno found success when he joined Man United in the winter of 2020. He was instrumental when Man United were runner-ups in Premier League 2021/22. Meanwhile, Casemiro is playing his debut season with Man United and did a great job under Erik ten Hag.
Bruno Fernandes was notably criticised by former Man United players Roy Keane and Gary Neville for his role and body language when Liverpool hammered Man United 7-0 at Anfield this season. Not just Bruno, it was a complete team failure for Man United but they bounced back in the season to finish third in Premier League.
Bruno was also seen debating with Casemiro after February’s 2-0 win against Newcastle United in the EFL Cup final at Wembley and after April’s 1-0 win over Aston Villa at Old Trafford. It generated a bit of content for media and fans to discuss that Bruno and Casemiro have a poor relationship.
While speaking to the Guardian ahead of FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium, the former Real Madrid star was quick to avoid any suggestions that he has a poor relationship with Bruno Fernandes, instead arguing the opposite.
Casemiro speaks, “When I arrived here, and it was down to the language I was fortunate Bruno would help me a great deal. He was always brilliant, and taught me lots about the club. I have a very good relationship with Bruno, we get on really well.”
He also added, “I can say this with complete confidence, he is one of the most important players at the club and everyone sees what a great player he is. But to be honest and I say this to him, I expect a great deal from him. So when he misses a chance, when one of his passes goes astray [I say this to him]. We always want him to do everything perfectly but these are normal conversations. I’ve never had an argument with Bruno – the opposite in fact.
Casemiro ended his thought with a happy note, “It’s a pleasure to play alongside him because in the end he’s the driving force of the team, the one that helps us the most. The team’s engine if you like.”
Casemiro’s opinion on Bruno Fernandes will help United to focus on the game. It was the commentator’s call who picked some random scenes as doubtful. We have seen Man United’s former players taking tough words on the current players. Man United are doing great under Erik ten Hag and they are now aiming for the second silverware of the season.
