On Thursday, Pat Cummins and Co. were involved in vigorous training sessions. Cameron Green and Usman Khawaja were seen practicing taking close-in catches, while David Warner and Steve Smith were seen working on their defense.

Notably, after the conclusion of the WTC Final, Australia will begin their Ashes defense against England. The 5-match series will begin on June 16 at Edgbaston.
While England’s cricket team is currently playing a one-off Test against Ireland at Lord’s, Australia has already begun preparation for the WTC final and the Ashes. The team’s training sessions have commenced at the Beckenham ground in Kent, situated 20 kilometers away from central London.
Meanwhile, the Indian squad members have also arrived in London and have commenced their preparations for the Final. The Indian team is currently training at Sussex. The IPL 2023 winners Ravindra Jadeja and Ajinkya Rahane along with Gujarat Titans’ Shubman Gill on Thursday joined the rest of the India squad for the training.
