Activision revealed a mobile-based Warzone game is also under development, which sparked off the interest even more. Modern Warfare 2 leaks have been going out in the community for some time. Call of Duty Next: Modern Warfare 2 Beta dates revealed
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is scheduled to release on October 28, 2022. Prior to its release, Activision will conduct the Beta drives for the title to give gamers a raw taste of the gameplay.
The Modern Warfare II Beta is split into two playable Weekends. Early access is available for those with either digital or retail pre-orders. The first weekend is exclusively for PlayStation gamers, while the second one is open for all.

Weekend One: First on PlayStation
This is exclusively for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 gamers. The event will run from Friday, September 16 at 10 AM PT to Tuesday, September 20. However, those with the Beta codes can access the game on September 16. The rest will need to wait a couple of days and can begin to enjoy the game on September 18.
Weekend Two: All Platforms
The second Beta weekend is available on all console platforms and PC. It is scheduled to run from Thursday, September 22 at 10 AM PT to Monday, September 26. Crossplay will be activated allowing players to team up with friends irrespective of their devices.
Gamers who pre-ordered the game for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, or pre-purchased for PC via Blizzard Battle.net or Steam, can access the game on Thursday, September 22 at 10 AM PT. From September 24, 10 AM PT, players can openly access the Beta version of call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
