Kidambi Srikanth has received a special honour from the Indian Premier League 2018 leaders Chennai Super Kings. An apt case of the best honouring the best – if CSK are riding skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s regained confidence and tremendous form to emerge the best in the IPL 2018 so far, Kidambi Srikanth is undisputedly Indian badminton’s top star at present.
CSK has decorated the former world No. 1 shuttler with the team colours – a customized CSK jersey for Srikanth.
An elated Kidambi has tweeted the picture of his prized possession from Chennai Super Kings – the Yellow Army jersey with his first name ‘Srikanth’ and the ‘No.7’ emblazoned on the back. The No. 7 in the team is reserved for skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Thank you Chennai Super Kings for the tshirt. Let’s get this today. pic.twitter.com/0lQEMIATmh

The 25-year-old Srikanth had bagged the gold medal in mixed team event and a silver in singles event at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games last month.
Chennai Super Kings, back in the IPL fold following the two-year suspension, have been doing exceptionally well in the IPL season 2018. The Dhoni-led squad is currently leading the league table with 12 points from 6 wins and 2 losses.
