Big Bash League Finals – Will IPL Franchises keep an eye? The final of the tenth edition of the Big Bash League (BBL 2020-21) will be played between Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers. Some of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) franchises will be closely following the finals. Reason, not only few of their team players will be in action on Saturday but IPL teams will try to gauge some of the talent available before the auctions on 18th February.
Some of the players who have lost their IPL contracts will try to impress the franchises looking for new signings this year.
Colin Munro
The former Delhi Capitals batsman is in red-hot form this season in the ongoing BBL. Munro has slammed 441 runs in 14 innings during the ongoing tenth season of the Australian T20 league. The New Zealand player can play his best to help Perth Scorchers lift their fourth title in the competition. He will be a good pick for the IPL 2021 season.

Jason Roy
The England opening batsman is known for his attacking shots and dominance in the T20 league. The 30-year-old has managed 355 runs in 12 innings for the Perth Scorchers this season. Roy missed out on playing for Delhi Capitals in the last season due to injury. He could be a worthwhile pick for teams facing problems at the top of their batting order.
Jhye Richardson
The 24-year-old is the leading wicket-taker of the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL). Richardson has picked 27 wickets in 16 matches. He will eye another dominating performance to help Sydney Sixers win their record-equalling Big Bash title. The Aussie pace spearhead can be a good buy for RCB, and KXIP, as they leaked, runs at the death throughout the season.
Moises Henriques
The talented Aussie all-rounder had replicated his success in the Big Bash after a good run in T20 contests against India last year. He has played only three innings in the BBL, and his figures are 56, 43 and 38.
Carlos Braithwaite
The West Indies all-rounder is out of favour from all IPL franchises for the last two seasons. The 32-year-old has picked 16 wickets in 15 matches in BBL 2020-21. Braithwaite is also a handy lower middle-order batsman. He had last played for KKR in IPL.
