The following coaches were appointed to work with the national team during the upcoming Sri Lanka Tour of Bangladesh.
Chaminda Vaas – Fast Bowling Coach
Piyal Wijetunge – Spin Bowling Coach
Manoj Abeywickrama – Fielding and Support Coach

Nawaz had been the head coach of the Bangladesh junior team that won the Under-19 World Cup in 2020. The cricket board also announced specialist coaches Chaminda Vaas for fast bowling, Piyal Wijetunge for spin and Manoj Abeywickrama for fielding. The first Test begins May 15 in Chittagong, followed by the second Test in Dhaka from May 23
