Deepak Chahar reflects on his injury setback
In a conversation with with Axar Patel after the match on BCCI TV, Deepak seemed relaxed and reflected back on the injury and how desperate he was on a return to the Indian team.
“I was eager to make a comeback and wanted to be back on the field when I was sidelined through injury. It was difficult period for me personally,” Deepak said to Axar Patel.
While he also spoke on the fans and how they help the game he said, “It is always a great feeling to wear the Indian kit and the fans are an important part of it.
“It is always great to get the support from the Indian fans in the stand, as there was no fun during the Covid-19 period as there were no fans in the stadium,” Deepak concluded as he looks forward to the second ODI.
