Rohit could become third player to score 1000 runs

Virat Kohli also eyes personal milestone
Alongside Rohit, Virat Kohli is also in line to surpass Tendulkar. The former India captain is on 766 runs, and is the sixth-highest scorer in the history of the Asia Cup. Virat needs 206 runs to reach the tally and could be on his way to surpass the god of cricket.
If Virat does manage to score a hundred, his first in more than two years, he will have four hundreds in the Asia Cup. Only Sanath Jayasuriya and Kumar Sangakkara have scored more tons to in the continental tournament, so this could be the perfect time for Virat to register the milestone.
