Before he moved to Bucharest, where he flexes a lavish lifestyle, Tate’s first Romanian address was near a small village of Sacele, per the reports of BBC. Based on what media reports suggest, Andrew Tate lived in a squat, three-story building with yellow walls. As for the locality of Sacele, it had no resemblance to the flashy well-being that Tate has today.
Sacele is known to be a town full of natural peaks. Covered with snow-muffled forest, branches iced thickly to their tips, the village is a long drive from Bucharest. With No Ferraris or Buggatis on sight, the media could only spot a Dacia and a Skoda when they reportedly went outside the building. The entire building had small functional apartments and Tate brothers were entitled to apartments number 9 and 17 back in the days. Andrew Tate and Tristian Tate began their Romanian business empire from there.
As a local developer, Vasile Mezdrea said, “They (Tate brothers) paid in installments because they didn’t have the money to buy the flats outright.”
The local developer sold them the properties somewhere in 2015 or 2016 for less than $37,900 each. And he seems to remember how Andrew Tate and Tristian Tate lacked money back in the day.
Mezdrea said, “They had no car in those days – they used to take their girlfriends out shopping in taxis.”

As per several people from the locality, Andrew Tate moved in there with his British girlfriend Melissa, but locals remember several more women living or regularly visiting the apartment. Some of the people refused to get their identity revealed as they recalled the Tate brothers as “contemptuous, arrogant”.

However, one person tagged them to be ‘discreet’ as there was no music or fights happening in Tate’s apartments. After earning generational wealth, Tate moved from there. However, Vasile Mezdrea believes that beautiful women dragged Andrew Tate to Romania.
