The 20-year-old Sen became only the third men’s singles player after Prakash Padukone and Pullela Gopichand to reach the final after outwitting Lee 21-13, 12-21, 21-19 in a gruelling semifinal match.

Lakshya Sen Enters Finals: Lakshya won the 1st game with ease at 21-13 but the Malaysian came back strongly to knock Lakshya out in the 2nd set.
The 3rd and final set was a real cliff-hanger with Lakshya trailing 16-18 at one point of a time. The 20 year old Indian cameback strongly to beat the Malaysian 21-19.
Lakshya will now play the WINNER of Viktor Axelsen (DEN) vs Chou Tien Chen (TPE) in Finals on Sunday.
