The Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has been recently reacting to TV shows, movies on his Twitch streams. Due to this, he got to face criticism from everyone who lost their mind because of his reaction streams on Twitch. xQc responded with frustration and asked everyone why other popular streams weren’t treated the same way as he was. A lot of criticism is being levelled at Twitch TV, due to the DMCA claims that have targeted faulty Twitch streamers. The DMCA and legal concerns regarding TV show meta are constantly rising, as we see Pokimane being banned from the platform as she reacted to Avatar: The Last Airbender, the TV show meta has gotten seriously heated. The situation heated up so much that Twitch’s Head of Community Production, djWHEAT slams xQc’s management for letting him stream TV meta amidst DMCA claims.
However, xQc does not share this opinion, nor does he believe the criticism was fully justified. xQc responded to Marcus ‘djWHEAT’ Graham’s tweets during his stream by asking people why they were angry when he watched anime and asked “Where was all of this energy when Disguised Toast was watching 150 episodes of Naruto while literally sleeping on stream?”
Apparently, he wonders why the internet is edgy around him after watching three hours of content, saying that Disguised Toast essentially has a library of anime that is widely distributed in the US but nobody seems to notice.

There are a number of examples of different content creators being treated differently for the same content, according to xQc. This debate regarding ‘TV show meta’ and reacting to the content in general is not going to die down any time soon, and if it continues this way, it will not cease any time soon either.
