AC Milan vs Sassuolo in Serie A: Sassuolo registered a shock 2-1 win over AC Milan who were trying to bridge the gap between them and Inter for the top of the table.
Two goals in seven second-half minutes, however, turned the match on its head, both from substitute Giacomo Raspadori, as he earned Sassuolo a surprise win.

Without injured top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Milan tried to shiver down the visitants early on, but something unique from Hakan Calhanoglu gave them the lead on the half-hour mark.
On the day Milan retreated from the proposed European Super League, a damaging loss intends they occupy second in the league table, 10 points behind leaders Inter Milan.
“We do not fear missing out, only great determination to qualify [for the Champions League next season],” Milan coach Stefano Pioli said. “We have three direct clashes with our rivals Lazio, Juventus, and Atalanta before the end of the season- those will be decisive”

AC Milan vs Sassuolo: All the attacking purpose in the second half came from the visitors, with the state of the 76th-minute equalizer all in the smooth build-up play before Raspadori appeared in slot home.
Sassuolo manager Roberto De Zerbi announced that he supported avoiding his team’s journey to Milan because of their engagement in the proposed Super League.
“I confirm everything I said yesterday, but clearly the Milan players and fans are excluded from my speech,” he said.
“I think I have not offended anybody and I do not have to apologize to anyone. I think I have taken a position to defend football that is my life.”
The winner was all Raspadori’s own doing, as he beat two men before piercing in a shot off the post, to become the first player to score a Serie A double as a replacement versus Milan since 1994-95.
Another home defeat – five of Milan’s six league losses have come on their own ground- means victory for Atalanta at AS Roma on Thursday would raise them above Milan into third.
